4th Annual Cut-for-a-Cure
October 5th, 2014; 10am-3pm
The Cutting Edge Hair Design
This fundraiser held by the Cutting Edge Hair Design is a great way to get a haircut for a cause. Haircuts are only $20 and all proceeds are donated to Making Strides and the American Cancer Society. There will be music, food and raffles for the whole family. http://www.saloncuttingedge.com/
The Pink Rock Classic: “Take a Swing Against Breast Cancer”
October 6th, 2014; 11am-9pm
The Port Jefferson Country Club
-This event is held every year to give financial support to those battling breast cancer. This golfing fundraiser has raised over $400,000 in previous years and has helped countless families fight breast cancer through the Fund for the Uninsured and the Underserved at the Fortunato Breast Center at Mather Hospital. Events at this fundraiser vary from the golf tournament to a grand buffet dinner at the end of the night. 4th Annual Breast Cancer Summit
October 7th, 2014; 8am-1pm
The Coral House, Baldwin

1st Annual Pink Pumpkin Patch
October 8, 2014; 4pm-7pm
County Executive Office, Mineola
Paint and decorate pumpkins on the front lawn of the County Executive. Pumpkins will be decorated pink in honor of breast cancer awareness. After the pumpkins are decorated, stick around for the Dome Lighting at 7pm, rain or shine.
10th Annual Pink Diamond Gala
October 9th, 2014; 6:30pm

Girls’ Night Out: Breast Cancer Awareness
October 16th, 2014; 5pm-10pm

49th Annual One Enchanted Evening Race to Hope
October 17th, 2014; 7pm

-Have a great night of fun and games at the One Enchanted Evening Race to Hope presented by the John T. Mather Memorial Hospital. A grand buffet, open bar, “Armchair Horse Racing,” live music and various auctions are just a few highlights of the night that benefits breast cancer research. Making Strides of Long Island

Jones Beach State Park
Probably one of Long Island’s best known breast cancer awareness events, Making Strides of Long Island raises money and celebrates those who’ve struggled with breast cancer. Over 4,700 participants have already registered for this event and hundreds of thousands of dollars have been raised so far. Help fight breast cancer by having fun with family and friends while walking Jones Beach. Money raised by this event go to the American Cancer Society for breast cancer research.
MWCABC 16th Annual 5K Walk Run
October 26th, 2014; 8am
Mary Jane Davies Park, Manhasset
